Getting in trouble for craigslist casual encounters?

March 24, 2010 by admin

Is it possible to get into any sort of legal trouble for the casual encounters section, as announced, or reply to someones post or anything? Obviously not the erotic services sex stuff, but a friendship as people seeking a no strings attached friendship with benefits? I’m only 18 and did not know much about these things. Thank you all.

you need to go to craislist and read the things that they allow and dont allow. there is a section for people searching for girls and girls, guys and guys, and girls and guys. i would suggest going there.

not really unless someone really wants to make a big deal, then they can delete your post

No, but alot of people on there are like me, spammers. I made alot of money on there (yes, Im on here admitting it on yahoo answers, Im one of “those” guys). I have a dating site and I would go on there and post pictures of girls I knew, even though it wasnt me, and I would tell guys to send me an email. I would set up an email address at gmail, because they have a vacation responder. So when the guys emailed me, it automatically replied back with “hey thats cool, you sound like a cool guy, well if you want to meet up, you should take a look at some of my pics first before we get serious, here’s my profile at (dating site here)”. Well once they went to my site, they cant see the profile unless they sign up. Sign up is free, but to see extra features costs money, so many men would sign up for free, then a month later end up signing up for the pay membership to see other members of mine and more of their pics. Cha-ching!
I found its more profitable to just make a free dating site and put ads all over the place, so all my sites are completely free now, and many other dating sites are the same now, but thats how we used to do it.
Just an estimate from my experience and what to look for, but I would say that 70% of the “women” on there are really guys like me. Same thing with the erotic section.
This is how most of the big dating sites got started, with tricks. Now they are legit and can pay for ads, but this is how they got the first couple thousand members. Its harder to do that stuff now, so they got in where they fit in. If you like asian women, I got a free site, where at least you know they are real.

Almost all the people posting on the casual encounters are hookers anyway. Most will not come straight out and say they are hookers, but eventually they wind up asking for money for services. If you are 18 and really don’t know what goes on at CL, you should read through this site http://www.howtobeatcraigslist.uni.cc and get more informed before you get hurt.
