Do you think most people have extramarital affairs by accident or intentionally?

I think intentionally, at least on one person’s behalf. I think it starts off innocent, and then becomes intentional.
They are horny pigs, it’s intentional. They have wives and husbands and kids at home waiting for them and they go out FFFFuccking someone else, is that not intentional? Do they still go home with their wives and husbands and kids? If they do, then it’s intentional unless they have the brain diseases and forget that they r the horny pigs

It depends on the situation. If one is sexually deprived in a marriage, one may inadvertently sleep with another due to hormones. It’s not always intentional because intentional implies that one is planning to have an affair, which is not always the case.
Cheating is always intentional. There are no accidents or excuses. “But I was drunk!” is just an idiot’s excuse.
Well you can’t exactly remove a persons clothes and accidentally slip a penis into a vagina can you? Otherwise it would happen hourly on the tube or subway wouldn’t it!!

I have never heard of someone slipping and falling into a vagina or on a penis.
I’m going to go with intentional. Now, I do believe that things can start off innocently, like you said, but every step one takes that crosses the line is a conscious choice.
Affairs are a matter of choice actually.
Each one of us are able to define our own code of ethics as to what is morally right or wrong and balance the excitement of an extramarital affair versus maintaining the sanctity of our vows.
So I guess it is intentional and not an act of innocence
It’s not something that can be pinpointed. Some do it for the attention, others are just downright lousy. I would gander to say though that most start out fairly innocent. You work with someone. You have common interests. Things escalate and go from there.
How do you “accidentally” have sex with someone?
I tend to be a trusting person and give people the benefit of the doubt. I think in most cases, the person doesn’t set out with the intention of having an affair, but when the opportunity arises, they don’t make the right choices.
I think they have something in back of their mind.

I can’t understand how its by accident, its not like you can trip over a rock and find yourself in bed with a stranger.
People who have affairs have the intent to act on it.

I have never walked into an unintentional situation for a love affair. Once you meet that person for the first time…they make up their minds quick,.
I don’t believe that you can accidentally have an affair. It’s just an easy way out or a quick fix that only turns out to hurt others. Most people don’t want to work at a marriage these days. That’s just my opinion.
There are a lot of reasons why people cheat and unfortunately it is almost impossible to say why. Everyone has a different situation and that makes the reasons different as well. I guess it is safe to say that at times there is just and attraction that may only be sexual and once it’s been acted on the thrill and anticipation of it all ends there. There could be something that one partner wants to try that the other never would. It’s hard to say.
I think people unintentionally allow themselves to become attracted to someone but it should stop there , if it doesn’t then they are intentionally allowing themselves to commit adultery .If you get what I mean.
i think people who have extramarital affairs are very unhappy with their marriages but instead of addressing the problems that they have in their marriage, they go out and start an affair (the easy way out). others (who don’t have extramarital affairs) have the courage and the will to solve the problems in the marriage. every marriage has some problems by the way. i’ve never met a single couple who never had any problems or arguments at all.
i think one should try to stay in touch with their spouses “real” feelings and know when he or she is unhappy. however, sometimes we fail to catch those signals and have to face the ugly consequences of a cheating spouse. its really painful.
i think its always intentional and due to selfish reasons. the spouse who cheats chose to take the easy way and the fun way out. its never innocent. every sensible adult knows what they are getting into when they agree to going out for dinner with that guy or gal they cheat with or when they talk to him or her on the phone and hide it from their spouse. when ur having to keep it a secret from your spouse, therez definite trouble in your marriage.

It is intentional. The opportunity may be an accident, but the decision to proceed with the affair is intentional.
