Your story is a very abridged version but mainly correct. As an idea for a song maybe not. In the 1970s the chances of this getting air time were slim to none. I am real surprised that it got as big as it did. Could be some one in the industry was pulling some behind the scene strings
. A similar song “My ding a ling” while equally cute got no air time at all. By the way I believe the captioned song is on YOUTUBE.
